Here are the basic steps how to fix a broken Waterpik hose:

1. Remove the handle head. Remove the rotating head of the handle. It is a little rounded part on the top, that rotates the tip. Just pull it and it should come out. If it doesn’t come out, use a screwdriver to push on that part as showed on the picture in red.
2. Open the handle. Unfortunately there is no way how to open the handle without breaking it. Don’t worry, we will glue it back together at the end. So you will have to use a screwdriver to open the handle. Once you are done, it falls apart like that.
3. Put the white plastic collar on the hose.
4. Take out the inner part of the handle.
5. Put the hose on. You have to take the end of the hose and put it on the handle end. It should be like a compression fiction fit. Make sure you go as tight as possible, so the hose will not come out again.
6. Push the collar up to the end of the hose.
7. Put the handle back in place.
8. Glue the handle back together. Place the glue on the handle contact points and then put the handle back together.
9. Fix and let it dry. Wrap the rubber band around the handle and let the glue dry and do its job.
